Tasha Could Make That

Tasha Could Make That

Vintage knitting, sewing, and a lifetime of craftiness

In just a few short days…

May 19, 2013 by Tasha 28 Comments

… we’ll be leaving for the UK! And so I’m packing.

(Pay no mind to the wall color, we haven’t painted our bedroom yet after a year in the house!)

And despite my best intentions, I’ve not been able to keep up with the blogosphere, what with the bathroom remodel still going on and a long vacation looming in just a few days. I’ll post occasional pictures on Instagram while we’re gone and check email, but otherwise I’ll be pretty disconnected. As it probably should be on a good holiday, I think!

When we’re back I’ll have lots to share, and I’m brimming with ideas for posts this summer (and I will finally have the time to dedicate to them!). In the meantime, be well, play nice with one another, and save a few stories for me for when I’m back home.

See you in early June!

Remember to pack an umbrella or two and lots of layers! We’re not having much of a summer over here at the moment!
Hope you have a wonderful time all the same 🙂 x

How completely, fabulous exciting! I’ve always loved packing for a trip (a point which Tony adores, as it’s not his cup of tea at all), the idea of creating a mini, temporary wardrobe for yourself while you’re on the go is just so fun (challenging at times, for sure, but fun all the same).

I’m so happy for you guys and hope that you have the trip of a lifetime!!!

    ♥ Jessica

Hope you have a wonderful vacation! I bet it would be hard not to have a great time, given where you’re going and the people you’ll be visiting. 🙂

Looking forward to seeing some pictures (& yarn) when you get back.

    Enjoy, I’m English, so I’m biased 🙂

And I second the brolly, extra layers suggestions; hopefully you won’t need them.

I’m sure you’ve made plans, bit if you are in Malvern on 27th May or Birmingham on 8th June there are a couple of big flea/vintage fairs on.

Wish you a great vacation! And totally agree – there’s little point in staying on-line during a trip =) I usually intend to, but get’s swept away in the pleasure of leeving everyday life at home. This last trip, I ditched my blogging-intentions and just enjoyed the vacation =)
    Have fun in the UK!
