Shoes and plaids

October 4, 2011 by Tasha 18 Comments

Hi everyone! Thank you all so, so much for your compliments on my beret and gloves set! I’m so glad you liked them. They really were fun… okay, except the fingers on the gloves, but you already knew that. 😉

This week is busy, busy, busy with projects, and I fear I don’t have much time to write! So I thought I’d just share a few photos from the weekend. We inadvertently went out on Saturday both wearing plaid. My plaid is a wonderful new skirt I got from Adeline’s Attic. Jill always has the best stuff, doesn’t she!

I am simply adoring the shoes I got the other weekend. So perfect with stockings on a cool day. And they’re quite comfortable!

They are quickly becoming favorites! Have you acquired any fast favorite vintage finds lately?

You two are the cutest couple of the vintage blogosphere! 🙂

Your shoes are very beautiful. It is so hard to find vintage shoes that are actually comfortable too so big props for that.

I love the hats! Mel always looks good in hats too.

seems like all my new vintage goodies are too summery to wear. but the weather this weeks is looking nice, so maybe i’ll be able to sneak them in!!

Jill does always have really nice things! Such a great skirt!

I’ve got a couple of dresses I bought on etsy (one early 60s, one late 70s) on the way. Can’t wait!

What a sweet photo! The skirt and shoes and beautiful, love the plaid!

This is a funny coincidence: my latest vintage find was a pair of brown 40s shoes =)

Love the first picture–so sweet! 🙂 The plaid skirt is gorgeous–great find! I just went through and dug out my winter skirts and realized all I have is a dark (Blackwatch-style) plaid skirt. Must get a red one this year! 🙂
